After 8 weeks of online action, the 8 teams are now confirmed for the ECS Season 5 Finals live from the SSE Arena, Wembley.

From 8-10 June, 4 teams from the European league, and 4 teams from North American league will battle it out for the lion’s share of the prize pool and the coveted ECS trophy.

EU 1st place

After an incredible 17-1 record in the online season, Danish giants Astralis are without a doubt the hot favourites for the title in London. As ECS Season 2 champions, they’ll be hoping to become the first team ever to lift the ECS trophy twice.

EU 2nd place

Another former champion, the French superteam have weathered the roster-shuffle rumours, and will be hoping their Spanish star Mixwell will be able to mix well with the best teams in the world.

EU 3rd place

Even at their brilliant best, FNATIC have never won an ECS title. Their 10-8 record wasn’t spectacular, but they survived the final-day drama and booked their ticket to London – the home of their org.

FaZe Clan
EU 4th place

They won it in Cancun, but can FaZe Clan claim a back-to-back championship? Now with Swedish veteran Xizt standing in for olofmeister, they’re up there with the favourites for the title – despite a mixed online season.

NA 1st place

NRG were amongst a slew of surprises in a topsy-turvy NA online season. They matched Astralis’s 17-1 record, and stormed the NA table. Can they transfer that amazing form to LAN?

NA 2nd place

Even a drawn-out Stewie/Skadoodle saga couldn’t stop January’s Major champions from qualified well for the Season 5 Finals. Now, Skadoodle and crew will be travelling to London, leaving previous team-mate Stewie and SK behind. Spicy.

NA 3rd place

LG are now flying the flag for Brazilian CS in the ECS Finals, after fellow countrymen SK lost out by just a single win. steel will have something to prove, while PKL, yeL, NEKIZ and SHOOWTiME get another chance to prove their worth on the big stage.

Team Liquid
NA 4th place

Rounding out the standings is another fan-favourite lineup, now joined by ex-SK fragger TACO. We’re yet to see the best of this lineup on LAN, but many in the know are calling them to be dark horses for the trophy.
